Iovance Biotherapeutics just posted Q3 2026 numbers that lit up the income statement while only lightly nudging the share price. The stock closed at US$7.74 before the release and now trades near US$8.04, up about 4% on the day. That move looks modest next to a quarter built around roughly US$121.5m in revenue and a sharply smaller net loss of about US$22.3m. For a commercial stage biotech still investing heavily, the emotional tug of a green price screen may be masking how much the loss line has tightened.
Appreciate Iovance Biotherapeutics’ move toward heavier revenue, but remain wary of the ongoing net loss. Screen for biotechs with stronger cash generation profiles using the list of solid balance sheet and fundamentals stocks (24 results).

The upbeat claim is that Iovance has moved from proving the science to scaling a real product engine.
"What gives me confidence is that the commercial business appears to be improving. The number of treatment centers continues to increase, more doctors are referring patients, manufacturing has become faster and more efficient, and the company expects strong revenue growth this year."
Q3 shows that optimism tied to execution has some footing. Amtagvi sales passed US$100m in a quarter, authorized treatment centers topped 100, and most lots shipped within 30 days. Revenue guidance of US$410m to US$420m was reaffirmed, with gross margin at about 60% and the loss line sharply narrower.
Skeptics argue that past launch missteps and funding anxiety still hang over Iovance.
"After a disappointing commercial launch in 2025, many investors lost confidence and the share price fell sharply. However, I believe the company today is much stronger than the market gives it credit for."
The latest quarter cuts against the idea that launch problems are persisting. Amtagvi demand supported US$121.5m in total revenue, with Proleukin moving in tandem and more than 1,000 patients treated. Cash of roughly US$382m and guidance that the balance funds operations well into 2029 lessen near term financing pressure, even though the share price is still well below earlier highs and the stock fell 38% over 30 days to 6 November.
