Listen to the news

Jufeel International Holdings Limited (HKG:8611) insiders who acquired shares over the previous 12 months, can probably afford to ignore the recent 11% decline in the stock price. After taking the recent loss into consideration, the RM28.6m worth of stock they bought is now worth RM31.7m, indicating that their investment yielded a positive return.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

Jufeel International Holdings Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when Chairman & CEO Rongxuan Zhang bought HK$29m worth of shares at a price of HK$0.55 per share. That implies that an insider found the current price of HK$0.61 per share to be enticing. Of course they may have changed their mind. But this suggests they are optimistic. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. Happily, the Jufeel International Holdings insider decided to buy shares at close to current prices. Rongxuan Zhang was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.
