The Baltimore-based company said it had a loss of less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 1 cent per share.

The sports apparel company posted revenue of $1.24 billion in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.25 billion.

Under Armour expects full-year earnings in the range of 8 cents to 12 cents per share.
