Hong Kong Monetary Authority: Official foreign exchange reserve assets at the end of October were US$440.5 billion

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on November 6, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced that Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserve assets at the end of October 2026 were US$440.5 billion (US$432.9 billion at the end of September 2026). There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at the end of October and September 2026. The total amount of foreign exchange reserve assets of US$440.5 billion is equivalent to more than five times the currency in circulation in Hong Kong, or about 36% of the Hong Kong dollar money supply M3.
