According to the China Aviation Association, in October 2026, the average number of daily flights carried out on domestic routes within China was about 12,760, a decrease of 3.44% compared to September. The average daily flight volume decreased by 3.85% compared to October 2025, and increased 6.56% compared to the same period in October 2019. The average number of flights operated on international/regional routes in China per day was about 2,330, up 3.00% from September and 0.75% from October 2025. The average daily flight volume is currently around 87% for the same period in October 2019.
