12:22 AM EST, 11/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI.VI), or RBI, received acceptances for 96.79% of the shares covered by its voluntary takeover offer for Addiko Bank (ADDI.VI) after the extended acceptance period expired on Nov. 3. A total of 18,688,243 Addiko shares were tendered, according to a Friday release. Once the offer is settled, RBI will hold 95.74% of Addiko's share capital, or 18,688,557 shares. The offer remains subject to closing conditions, which must be met by May 14, 2027. The Austrian lender said the planned carve-out of Addiko's subsidiaries in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro now appears unlikely after Alta Banka's banking license in Serbia was revoked. It expects to keep all Addiko units.
