The Zhitong Finance App learned that PV stocks continued to be active. As of press release, Junda shares (02865) rose 7.1% to HK$14.91; Xinte Energy (01799) rose 4.3% to HK$3.89; Xinyi Solar (00968) rose 4% to HK$2.21; and Follett Glass (06865) rose 2% to HK$5.98.

According to data from the National Energy Administration, China added about 38.76 GW of PV installed capacity in the third quarter of 2026, an increase of about 38% over 28.06 GW in the same period in 2025. Furthermore, the Democratic Party won both houses, reviving expectations of the continuation of the IRA's clean energy tax credit. Guoyuan International believes that the short-term sentiment catalyst brought about by the US election should not be directly extrapolated to an increase in long-term profits. The medium- to long-term restoration of the photovoltaic sector still lies in effective supply-side clearance, steady growth in demand for installed terminals, and redistribution of profits in the industrial chain.

CITIC Securities said that on the demand side, it is expected that new domestic PV installations may usher in a 5-10% marginal restoration in 2027. The supply and demand relationship is expected to improve markedly, and some high-efficiency high-end products may even face structural shortages. The bank believes that PV is in the bottom layout area with high odds.
