The reporter learned today from the National Energy Administration that since this year, China's hydrogen energy industry has developed rapidly, and investment in the hydrogen energy industry doubled in the first three quarters. According to data, in the first three quarters of this year, China's hydrogen energy industry invested a total of 28.7 billion yuan, an increase of 108% over the previous year, doubling. More than 10 new renewable energy hydrogen production projects have started, adding 100,000 tons of production capacity. Up to now, China's renewable energy hydrogen production projects have a cumulative annual production capacity of more than 350,000 tons, accounting for more than 50% of global production capacity, and the annual production capacity of projects under construction exceeds 1.2 million tons, which is at the leading level in the world. Looking at subregions: North China has the highest built production capacity, accounting for 45% of the country; followed by Northeast China, accounting for 36% of the country; third, Northwest China, accounting for 15% of the country. Currently, in China's renewable energy hydrogen production, the scale level of single projects is rapidly increasing, with projects of 10,000 tons or more accounting for nearly 50%. Currently, hydrogen production from renewable energy continues to develop rapidly in China. It is moving from pilot exploration to a new stage of large-scale development, which will strongly support the construction of a new energy system and the cultivation of future industries.
