Shiyao Group (01093): Phase I/II clinical trial of SYS6062 for the treatment of advanced solid tumors was officially launched at the first research center in China.

Zhitong Finance App News, Shiyao Group (01093) announced that the phase I/II clinical trial of SYS6062 (this product) developed by the Group for the treatment of advanced solid tumors has been officially launched at the first research center in China.

This product is an antibody-conjugated drug (ADC) that targets cancer embryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 5 (CEACAM5) developed by the Group. The antibody part can specifically bind to the surface of tumor cells expressing CEACAM5 and internalize it into the cell, releasing small molecules of toxins after specific protease cleavage, thereby killing tumor cells; at the same time, the product can exert a bystander effect and kill surrounding tumor cells without specifically killing surrounding tumor cells.

The Group obtained the “Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice” issued by the State Drug Administration of the People's Republic of China in October 2026, and initiated the first multi-center, open-label, dose escalation, pharmacokinetics (PK) expansion and cohort expansion after approval to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK characteristics and initial anti-tumor efficacy of this product in patients with advanced solid tumors.

Currently, the recruitment and screening of participants for this clinical trial is being actively promoted.
