The conference reported on the results of intellectual property protection work in emerging fields in the province: Zhejiang's comprehensive intellectual property development index has risen to 2nd place in the country, high-value invention patents in strategic emerging industries have reached 132,000, integrated circuit layout designs have been issued a total of 6,036 certificates, and the number of data intellectual property registrations has reached 34,400. The whole province keeps abreast of protection needs and pain points in emerging fields, and focuses on five areas of work: being a “driving force” for cutting-edge innovation, activating the “fuel bank” of artificial intelligence, tightening the “service network” of emerging fields, protecting the “safety line” of innovative achievements, and building a “protective wall” for enterprises to go overseas.
