Relying on Beijing's science and innovation advantages, Tianjin's equipment advantages, and Hebei's green power resource advantages, the three regions of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei collaborated to construct a new pattern of hydrogen energy industry chain development of “Beijing R&D, transformation, and global application”. Currently, the hydrogen energy industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has made many breakthroughs in the fields of transportation demonstration, lightweight storage and transportation, green hydrogen supply, industrial carbon reduction, energy storage and energy supply, and people's livelihood scenarios. It continues to improve the entire industry chain system of manufacturing, storage, transportation, addition, and use, accelerating the formation of a new model of collaborative hydrogen energy development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei that can be replicated and promoted. The “Plan” proposes to support the upgrading of the Beijing Hydrogen Energy Industry Innovation Center to a national hydrogen energy innovation center, build an innovation system integrating technology research and industrial application, and systematically lay out hydrogen energy pilot platforms around fuel cell vehicles, liquid hydrogen equipment, high temperature membrane fuel cells, new electrolytic hydrogen production, hydrogen internal combustion engines, etc., to open up the entire chain of technical research, pilot maturation, and industrial implementation.
