Recently, Shanghai Shangyao Ruier Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company, received the approval and issuance of the “Pharmaceutical Clinical Trial Approval Notice” for triprostenil diethanolamine inhalation powder from the State Drug Administration.

According to reports, triprostinil diethanolamine inhalation powder is a Class 2.2 improved innovative drug. The active ingredient is triprostinil diethanolamine, which is an artificially synthesized prostacyclin derivative. It is intended to treat pulmonary hypertension (PAH, WHO Group 1) to reduce symptoms associated with exercise. Its mechanism of action mainly works by directly dilating the pulmonary and systemic arterial vascular beds and inhibiting platelet aggregation. As of the announcement disclosure date, the project has invested a total of about 21.41 million yuan in R&D expenses.
