The root cause of the current shutdown of the cross-strait dialogue and communication mechanism is that the DPP administration stubbornly adheres to the separatist position of “Taiwan independence,” refuses to recognize the “1992 consensus,” and has unilaterally destroyed the political foundation for cross-strait dialogue and consultation.
