The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a regular press conference. A reporter asked: On November 5, the 9th China International Import Expo will open in Shanghai. Please tell us about Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese enterprises participating in the Expo. What opportunities will this year's Expo bring to Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese enterprises? Spokesman Zhu Fenglian said that the 9th China International Import Expo will open on November 5 at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 30 companies from Taiwan will participate in the fair. The booth area is about 4,200 square meters, covering various industries such as food, daily chemicals, consumer goods, medical care, health, precision manufacturing, and modern services. Hosting the Expo is an important step for the mainland to promote a new round of high-level opening-up to the outside world and take the initiative to open up its market to the world. We welcome more Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese enterprises to make full use of the Expo as an important platform to recommend their products, expand the mainland's domestic demand market, actively integrate into the new development pattern, and work with mainland compatriots to create and share the development achievements of Chinese-style modernization.
