On the evening of November 3, Weilong, a leading spicy snack food company, issued an executive change announcement. The two core management positions of CEO and CFO were replaced at the same time. Among them, Liu Fuping, one of the company's co-founders, resigned as CEO and became co-vice chairman; Yu Feng, 35, stepped down as CFO, took over as CEO and co-vice chairman; and Chen Yang, who has held financial management positions in multinational food companies such as Nestle and Xu Fu Ji, became CFO. These appointments are all effective from November 3. One detail worth paying attention to is that the new CEO Yu Feng has a close relationship with Weilong's founding family — he is the cousin of Chairman Liu Weiping, former CEO Liu Fuping, and Liu Zhongsi. He has been working for Weilong for 15 years and can be described as a “successor” nurtured by hand. “The above adjustments are important arrangements made by the Company based on business development needs and long-term strategic plans. They help to further optimize management team allocation, improve management decision-making and execution efficiency, and strengthen the Group's overall management capabilities.” Wei Long said in the announcement.
