MILWAUKEE (AP) — MILWAUKEE (AP) — Regal Rexnord Corporation (RRX) on Tuesday reported a loss of $12.5 million in its third quarter.

The Milwaukee-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and amortization costs, were $2.90 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.69 per share.

The maker of controls for electric motors posted revenue of $1.59 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.56 billion.
