According to a report by the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency on the 3rd, Chief of General Staff of Iran's armed forces Abdullahi explained five principles for achieving sustainable peace in the region. These five principles include: ending the fighting on all fronts, including Lebanon and Palestine; fully lifting sanctions against Iran and unfreezing Iran's assets; paying compensation for the war imposed on Iran; recognizing Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz; ensuring that no further aggression against Iran is carried out; and establishing an autonomous security mechanism in the West Asia region. Abdullahi said that the Iraqi armed forces are fully prepared to deal with all types of threats and will carry out an “immediate, strong, and geographically unrestricted response” to the threats.
