The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to CINNO Research statistics, the global market shipped about 230 million AMOLED smartphone panels in the third quarter of 2026, down 9.3% year on year and 0.7% month on month. The month-on-month increase was significantly narrower than 7.7% in the second quarter, and the market entered the demand digestion stage. The year-on-year pressure was on the one hand, demand was advanced and orders were advanced in the second quarter. On the other hand, the cost of core components such as memory rose, leading to a conservative trend in domestic Android brand procurement. Combined with the high base figure of 20.3% month-on-month increase in the third quarter of last year, this also affected year-on-year performance.

Structurally, flexible panels are still the main force of AMOLED smartphone panels, accounting for 81.4% of shipments, down 1.4 percentage points from month to month, and up 1.3 percentage points year on year. The month-on-month weakening was mainly affected by the pre-release of demand in the second quarter. Flexible panel shipments declined slightly month-on-month, but compared to the same period last year, the share of flexible panels continued to increase. In the long run, it is still the mainstream direction for smartphone AMOLED panels.
