In the first half of 2026, 272 pharmaceutical institutions across the city applied for designated medical insurance, a year-on-year decrease of 55.70%. 185 companies passed the fixed-point admission assessment, a year-on-year decrease of 24.49%, and the disorderly expansion of institutions was effectively curbed. By the end of August 2026, the total number of designated medical institutions in the city was 9,129, an increase of only 0.30% over the end of 2024.
