Tongguang Cable (300265.SZ): The subsidiary was suspended from winning the bid for 2 years by the State Grid Tianjin Company due to the act of providing false information

(hereinafter referred to as “Tongguang Cable”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, received a notice from the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company on October 22, 2026. Due to Tongguang Cable providing false information, the eligibility to win the bid was suspended for 2 years by all categories of the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company. The processing period is from June 2, 2026 to June 1, 2028.

On November 2, 2026, Tongguang Optical Cable received a notice from the State Grid Co., Ltd., that due to Tongguang Cable's act of providing false information to the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company, there is a risk that the eligibility to win the bid will be suspended for 2 years in all categories by the State Grid Corporation according to the relevant provisions of the State Grid Corporation's “Notice on Handling Supplier Misconduct and Sampling Points”.

According to relevant practices, all stocks of Tongguang optical cables that have won bids and have not been executed are unaffected. Fulfilment and delivery can proceed normally according to the original plan; there is no situation where execution is impossible.
