Vivek Mittal, marketing president of India's Petronet LNG company, told analysts in a conference call on Tuesday that the company has negotiated with Qatar Energy and plans to have Qatar supply a portion of liquefied natural gas produced in the US under the framework of a new long-term agreement that will come into effect in 2028. Mittal said, “The other party is willing to consider taking part of the supply from other air sources it has locked in.”
