The Zhitong Finance App learned that while attending the International Financial Leaders Investment Summit in Hong Kong, Blackstone (Blackstone President and Chief Operating Officer, Jon Gray), said that the core reason why AI model-related expenses of companies invested by Blackstone have increased dramatically in the past year, driving companies to continue to increase AI is that AI applications such as content creation, customer interaction, and code writing have already been implemented and generated real financial benefits.

Jon Gray said that he has full confidence in the AI infrastructure circuit. The underlying logic comes from basic supply and demand laws, and demand for computing power is currently very strong. Comparing the telecom boom in the late 90s, he pointed out that the industry model back then was to build supply first and wait for demand to follow up; now, the AI market has completely reversed, and demand has greatly outperformed supply, which gives him unique confidence in AI development.

In terms of investment structure, the AI infrastructure projects laid out by Blackstone are basically the world's leading hyperscalers (Hyperscalers). The average market value of such cooperative companies is 2.5 trillion US dollars, and long-term contracts for 15 to 20 years have been signed for related projects. In his view, the model also has strong basic support for supply and demand and a stable contract cash flow guarantee, and the investment structure is very stable.
