On November 2, local time, a small plane crashed shortly after taking off from Pachuca Airport in the central Mexican state of Hidalgo. The two people on board, the first and second pilots, died. A video taken by an eyewitness showed that the small plane lost control in the air and crashed near a road. The impact caused a fire. Mexico's civil aviation department said the wrecked was a privately operated “Cessna-210” single-engine plane that was originally scheduled to fly to Cuernavaca International Airport in Morelos. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
