Today, the CITIC Securities 2027 Capital Market Strategy Conference was held in Wuhan. The theme of this strategy meeting was “Melting Light and Moving Forward”. Zou Yingguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of CITIC Securities, made his first appearance and delivered a speech after taking office as chairman. He said that global growth momentum is showing “double concentration”. From an industrial perspective, growth is becoming more and more dependent on high-tech industries such as AI; from a country perspective, growth contributions are further concentrated in a few economies such as China and the US. At the same time, the complexity and uncertainty of the external environment are still prominent. Geographical conflicts are reshaping the logic of economic security, and supply guarantee capacity and industrial chain resilience are even more critical. He said that China's economic fundamentals have shown strong resilience, and it is expected that the breadth of the A-share market will continue to expand in 2027, and opportunities are piling up. China has a hyperscale market, a complete industrial system, abundant talents, and sufficient policy space, providing maximum certainty for the global economy. Structurally, it is expected that the boom in technological manufacturing will extend upstream and downstream along the industrial chain; going overseas will move from commodity exports to collaborative exports of production capacity, brands, and management systems; and domestic demand will also recover steadily as measures to promote consumption are implemented one after another. The three will be important supports for the steady and far-reaching development of the Chinese economy.
