The Zhitong Finance App learned that in October of this year, the number of new Tesla (TSLA.US) car registrations in various markets in Northern Europe increased, continuing the recovery in sales of the US electric vehicle manufacturer in the region.

According to data from the Swedish traffic analysis agency Mobility Sweden, the Norwegian data statistics agency OFV, and the Danish vehicle data platform Bilstatistik.dk, Tesla's registration volume in Sweden soared 248%, increased 131% in Norway, and 34% in Denmark.

This rebound was due to a lower base over the same period last year, rising fuel prices, government incentives, and continued growth in demand for electric vehicles. Registration data for Europe's two major car markets, the UK and Germany, will be released later this week.

Tesla said in October that when the company closed in the third quarter, its backlog of passenger car orders hit a four-year high.
