According to the news, Momenta and its strategic partner xHeart have recently successively disclosed the progress of cooperation and product upgrades with car companies around the “big model definition chip”.

SAIC Motor Group published an article stating that it will collaborate with XHEART for model adaptation and vehicle applications around the 700 TOPS large model computing power chip, and jointly target thousands of TOPS-level smart driving chips to support the implementation of higher-level autonomous driving.

During the press conference, Chery's executive vice president and CTO Gao Xinhua said that chips need to anticipate next-generation model requirements in advance, and that algorithm and chip companies should collaborate from the beginning of R&D.

Citroen Technology has also chosen to use the XHEART chip. The two sides will cooperate for Peugeot, Jeep and other brand models to expand markets in China, Europe and the rest of the world.

At the same time, Roewe, MG, and Zhiji successively released congratulatory posters co-signed with Momenta and XHEART, showing car companies' support for large model chips and software and hardware collaboration routes.

At the product level, Momenta unveiled the R7 Ultra at the October 29th press conference. According to the company, with the support of the X7 Ultra, the R7 Ultra model's parameter scale was increased 5 times the original size, and the safety performance was increased 5 times, and the world model moved from “understanding the world” to “deduce the world”; subsequent plans will expand the parameter scale to 10 times the original, and push the safety performance to more than 10 times.

The cooperation between car companies continues to expand and upgrade model capabilities, which together demonstrate the progress of “big model definition chips” from technology routes to vehicle applications.
