The Big Turns In Cattle Are Happening At Fibonacci Retracements

(LEZ26)

The chart is key to this analysis, on it you can see all the highs and lows that have held Fibonacci retracement and or a major Gann square.
There are two methods we use at ONE44 to find support and resistance in the markets. The first are major Gann squares, these are the yellow horizontal lines on the chart. The second is Fibonacci retracements. Here are a few basic rules when using the Fibonacci retracements with the ONE44 rules and guidelines.

This is the short version.
A 38.2% level keeps the trend intact and new highs/lows should follow.
A 23.6% level shows the market is extremely strong, or weak.
A 61.8%  level can send the market 61.8% of where it just can from and cause wide swings keeping the market in a trading range.
A 78.6% level can send it 78.6% of where it just came from and even be the end or start of a Bull market.

Here is a quick update,

The lows on 5/22/26 and 6/4/26 held the 38.2% retracement keeping the trend positive. The rally from it failed to make a new high on 6/22/26 at a 78.6% retracement and that ended the Bull market . The next attempt to rally hit 38.2% on 8/5/26 and that kept the trend negative, after a new low the next rally hit 38.2% on 9/14/26 also keeping the trend negative. The setback from it failed to make a new low in the area of a 78.6% retracement on 9/18/26 and that stated the next Bull run. The recent high hit 61.8% on 10/26/26 and the target from it following the ONE44 61.8% rule is 61.8% the other way.

All of these levels were given out in our Weekly Grain/Livestock Update along with what to look for from them. Here is our analysis for December Live Cattle,

Livestock

Cattle

December

From last week,

The rally after closing above 224.50 (38.2%) that turned the trend positive fell just shy of the short term target area of 232.80 to 233.75, with 232.80 being 61.8% it will be the key level for the week. A reaction from here can send it 61.8% the other way per the ONE44 61.8% rule.

Use 232.80 as the swing point for the week.

The high for the week was 232.90 and the break from the 61.8% (232.80) swing point for the week is currently trading below the 227.47 major Gann square and this will be the key level for the week. The longer term target is 61.8% the other way per the ONE44 61.8% rule.

Use 227.47 as the swing point for the week.

Above it, look for the area of 61.8% at 232.80 and the 233.70 major Gann square again. The long term target area is 78.6% at 238.60 and the 239.52 major Gann square. A failure to turn lower from this area will give us only major Gann squares to look for resistance and use as the swing point when closed above, the next one is 245.25.

Below it, the longer term target is 61.8% back to the 8/26/26 low at 219.60 per the ONE44 61.8% rule. The short term target is 38.2% of the same move, holding this keeps the trend positive and a new high can quickly follow (ONE44 38.2% rule). The long term target area is 78.6% at 215.80 and the 215.06 major Gann square.
