On October 31, 2026, the China Environmental Monitoring Station, in conjunction with the Central Meteorological Observatory, the Joint Center for Air Pollution Prevention and Control Research, the Northeast, South China, Southwest, Northwest China and Yangtze River Delta Regional Air Quality Forecast Center and the Beijing Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, held a national air quality forecast conference for the first half of November. In the first half of November, diffusion conditions were good in most parts of the country. The air quality was mainly excellent. There may be mild local pollution, and moderate pollution may occur in the central and southern regions of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. Affected by dusty weather, some cities in Xinjiang may experience moderate to or above PM10 pollution.
