In response to a series of new real estate policies announced on August 28, Ji Zhihong, deputy governor and board secretary of CCB, said on October 30 in response to questions from the Shanghai Securities News reporter at the CCB 2026 third quarter results briefing that CCB has taken the initiative to meet the requirements of the new policy and use the Group's advantages to provide comprehensive financial services to housing enterprise groups, project companies, and individual buyers. Ji Zhihong believes that overall, a series of new real estate policies will help commercial banks maintain stable investment in personal housing loans and stable asset quality, and better serve residents' rigid and improved housing needs. Regarding real estate development loans, Ji Zhihong said that the new deal will push real estate development loan investment from a traditional model to refined management based on the project's own cash flow and matching the entire life cycle of project construction. Judging from the pace of investment, the New Deal clearly regulates the logic of project financing, which is conducive to the orderly release of financing requirements for high-quality and compliant projects, and to the smooth investment of real estate development loans. In terms of risk management and control, the host banking system and closed management have promoted the earmarked use of project funds to effectively isolate the transmission of group risks to individual projects. Regarding personal housing loans, Ji Zhihong said that the new policy will help reasonably improve residents' ability to pay for home loans and provide more solutions for buyers to choose from. The new policy will also prevent delivery risks at the source, guarantee that buyers “can get a house and then repay the loan”, effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of buyers, and help buyers increase their confidence and release their housing needs.
