07:13 AM EDT, 10/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Government of Mozambique's Council of Ministers approved an extension of Kenmare Resources' (KMR.IR, KMR.L) key rights and concessions under the Moma mine's Implementation Agreement until 2044, according to a Friday filing. The approval follows the expiration of the initial 20-year implementation agreement in December 2024. The new contract includes revisions to the fiscal regime and royalty rates, as well as a minimum $200 million investment in plant, machinery, and infrastructure, among other terms. The titanium minerals and zircon producer added that the agreement governs the processing and export activities of its subsidiary, Kenmare Moma Processing (Mauritius), while mining operations at Moma fall under a separate regulatory framework.
