NASA satellite images show that a fire broke out around a large Russian refinery. This may be Ukraine's first attack on Russian fuel facilities in two weeks. Images from NASA's Fire Information Resource Management System in the past 24 hours show that two new thermal anomalies have appeared near the Novokubyshevsk refinery in Samara region, or represent a fire. Earlier on Friday, Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishev said on Russian social media that the state had been attacked by Ukrainian drones. The refinery belongs to the oil giant Rosneft. The media commented on it during non-working hours in Moscow, but no response has been received. The Ukrainian military has yet to issue any statement attacking the Samara region or the refinery.
