The Zhitong Finance App learned that BYD Electronics (00285) fell by more than 3%. As of press release, it was down 2.7% to HK$21.64, with a turnover of HK$989.611 million.

According to the news, on October 29, BYD Electronics announced the results for the first three quarters of 2026, with a turnover of about 127.458 billion yuan, up 3.38% year on year; profit attributable to parent company equity holders was about 963 million yuan, a decrease of 69.3% year on year.

Citi previously released a research report saying that BYD Electronics' results for the second quarter and the first half of the year fell short of expectations, mainly due to poor equipment utilization and foreign exchange losses. Citi pointed out that BYD Electronics' third quarter results will improve slightly compared to the second quarter, while the fourth quarter is expected to be an inflection point in profits, driven by the mobile phone business entering the main supply stage, mass delivery of liquid cooling products, and increased server deliveries. As for 2027, the traditional 3C business is expected to remain stable in the first half of the year, and improved significantly in the second half of the year as new models from major overseas customers enter mass production.
