It's been a good week for Gofore Oyj (HEL:GOFORE) shareholders, because the company has just released its latest quarterly results, and the shares gained 2.6% to €12.46. Gofore Oyj reported in line with analyst predictions, delivering revenues of €49m and statutory earnings per share of €0.58, suggesting the business is executing well and in line with its plan. The analysts typically update their forecasts at each earnings report, and we can judge from their estimates whether their view of the company has changed or if there are any new concerns to be aware of. So we gathered the latest post-earnings forecasts to see what estimates suggest is in store for next year.
Taking into account the latest results, Gofore Oyj's two analysts currently expect revenues in 2027 to be €235.6m, approximately in line with the last 12 months. Statutory earnings per share are predicted to surge 28% to €1.02. In the lead-up to this report, the analysts had been modelling revenues of €235.7m and earnings per share (EPS) of €1.04 in 2027. So it's pretty clear that, although the analysts have updated their estimates, there's been no major change in expectations for the business following the latest results.

It will come as no surprise then, to learn that the consensus price target is largely unchanged at €15.25.
Looking at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can make sense of these forecasts is to see how they measure up against both past performance and industry growth estimates. It's pretty clear that there is an expectation that Gofore Oyj's revenue growth will slow down substantially, with revenues to the end of 2027 expected to display 0.5% growth on an annualised basis. This is compared to a historical growth rate of 13% over the past five years. By way of comparison, the other companies in this industry with analyst coverage are forecast to grow their revenue at 2.3% per year. Factoring in the forecast slowdown in growth, it seems obvious that Gofore Oyj is also expected to grow slower than other industry participants.
The most obvious conclusion is that there's been no major change in the business' prospects in recent times, with the analysts holding their earnings forecasts steady, in line with previous estimates. On the plus side, there were no major changes to revenue estimates; although forecasts imply they will perform worse than the wider industry. The consensus price target held steady at €15.25, with the latest estimates not enough to have an impact on their price targets.
With that in mind, we wouldn't be too quick to come to a conclusion on Gofore Oyj. Long-term earnings power is much more important than next year's profits. At least one analyst has provided forecasts out to 2028, which can be seen for free on our platform here.
