Edison International: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

ROSEMEAD, Calif. (AP) — ROSEMEAD, Calif. (AP) — Edison International (EIX) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $751 million.

The Rosemead, California-based company said it had net income of $1.87 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1.92 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.83 per share.

The electric power provider posted revenue of $4.89 billion in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $5.53 billion.

Edison International expects full-year earnings in the range of $5.90 to $6.20 per share.
