LENZ Therapeutics Appoints CFO Dan Chevallard As Interim President, CEO, Effective Dec. 1, Succeeding Eef Schimmelpennink

LENZ Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: LENZ or "LENZ" or the "Company"), a pharmaceutical company focused on the commercialization of VIZZ® (aceclidine ophthalmic solution) 1.44%, the first and only aceclidine-based eye drop for the treatment of presbyopia, today announced Eef Schimmelpennink, President and Chief Executive Officer, will transition from his role effective December 1, 2026. Dan Chevallard, currently Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2026. Mr. Schimmelpennink will lead the organization through the reorganization and support a seamless leadership transition by continuing to serve as a strategic advisor to the Company into 2027.
