08:20 AM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets raised its price target for Unilever (ULVR.L, UNA.AS) to 48 pounds sterling from 46 pounds following the UK-based consumer goods group's third-quarter trading statement. "We are surprised that Unilever's share price reacted negatively to what we thought were solid Q3 results. We think the reason is concern over the performance of the North American business (organic sales -0.7% in Q3). While a negative number feels disappointing - and management is adamant that this will not recur in Q4 - we have felt that the strong growth in Unilever's North American business in recent quarters was more of a blip, in large part attributable to Liquid IV and Nutrafol, than a long term trend," analysts said Wednesday. The research firm also updated its forecasts for 2026 through 2028, noting that it remains "dubious" over the group's ability to sustain organic volume growth of 2%. The sector perform recommendation on the stock was retained.
