The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Tuesday, US semiconductor stocks rose at the beginning of the market. Broadcom (AVGO.US) rose nearly 5%, AMD (AMD.US) rose more than 4%, and Intel (INTC.US) rose more than 3%. According to the news, Broadcom announced that it has reached a $63 billion deal with Bank of America, Blackstone Group, Citigroup, and Morgan Stanley to finance artificial intelligence startup Anthropic's chip procurement and establish one of the largest AI chip financing deals to date. This deal is viewed by the market as an important endorsement of institutional capital's confidence in AI infrastructure investment.

According to a joint statement, the deal will be completed through a newly formed Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), and Bank of America, Blackstone, Citibank, and Morgan Stanley will provide financing to buy Broadcom chips and rent them out to Anthropic. The carrier will borrow $63 billion from the above institutions to purchase Broadcom's XPU artificial intelligence accelerators and network solutions, and then lease related equipment to Anthropic. Delivery of the relevant equipment is expected to begin in 2027.

Meanwhile, Anthropic officially submitted an IPO application and plans to land on the NASDAQ under the code “ANT”, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley leading underwriting. The issue price, number of shares to be issued, and the scale of capital raised have not been determined, but the market's valuation forecast has reached 1.5 trillion to 2 trillion US dollars. If completed at the upper limit, it will be one of the largest IPOs ever.
