Abionyx Pharma, Axplora Enter Manufacturing Tie-up for CER-001 Production

08:10 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Abionyx Pharma (ABNX.PA) entered into a strategic manufacturing partnership with Axplora, marking the completion of the structuring of the CER-001 bioproduction chain. Axplora will apply its specialist purification expertise to recombinant human apoA-I, the key biological component of CER-001, according to a Tuesday release. Work will be conducted at Axplora's Pompey site in France. The biotechnology company's CER-001 is a biopharmaceutical comprising recombinant human apoA-I and phospholipids that forms a biomimetic high-density lipoprotein particle designed to enhance the body's immune response by eliminating endotoxins. It is being developed for LCAT deficiency and sepsis.
