The Swedish drug discovery and development company said Tuesday patent 18/858,955, which is expected to remain in force until the early 2040s, will be granted once certain administrative formalities are completed. Irlab is preparing preclinical safety and toxicology studies ahead of the candidate's first clinical trial in humans.
