The Zhitong Finance App learned that CoreWeave (CRWV.US)'s new AI computing power in Europe has officially launched. The Livingston, New Jersey-based company announced that most of its planned IT capacity (22.5 megawatts in total) at its ATNorth DEN01 data center in Copenhagen is in operation, the first CoreWeave deployment project in Denmark.

The facility uses the Nvidia Blackwell system and is interconnected via the Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBand network. Following this expansion, CoreWeave's business footprint in Europe expanded to nine data centers in five markets, covering the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden and Norway.

CoreWeave also said it plans to add network access points in the UAE, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, South Korea and Japan. The program is scheduled to launch at the end of 2026, with the goal of completing a complete network loop by mid-2027, expanding the existing backbone network from North America and Europe to four continents.

According to the company, its global AI network backbone uses multiple 400Gbps connections, MACsec encryption, and redundant network paths at each site.

As of June 30, 2026, CoreWeave is operating 51 data centers around the world, with a total effective installed capacity of over 1.5 gigawatts. In an earnings call on August 11, the company reported that its contracted installed capacity was approximately 4.2 gigawatts.

As of press time, CoreWeave was up 3.48% in the premarket. Due to market concerns about AI financing, CoreWeave's stock price has fallen 37% so far this month.
