Pennon Group Closes GBP550 Million Rights Issue

06:42 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Pennon Group (PNN.L) closed its 550 million-pound-sterling rights issue of 220,257,997 new ordinary shares at 2.50 pounds apiece for acceptances, according to a Tuesday filing. The British water utility received valid acceptances for 207,546,531 shares for the 7-for-15 rights issue, or 94.229% of the total. Barclays Bank and Morgan Stanley & Co. International will now procure subscribers for the remaining 12,664,157 shares or purchase the shares themselves as part of their underwriting obligations. Trading of the new shares on the London bourse's main market starts Tuesday.
