Viewing insider transactions for Onewo Inc.'s (HKG:2602 ) over the last year, we see that insiders were net sellers. This means that a larger number of shares were sold by insiders in relation to shares purchased.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

Onewo Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider sale was by the COO & Executive Director, Shuhua He, for HK$21m worth of shares, at about HK$21.87 per share. That means that an insider was selling shares at around the current price of HK$19.99. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. We note that this sale took place at around the current price, so it isn't a major concern, though it's hardly a good sign. Shuhua He was the only individual insider to sell over the last year.

Insider Ownership Of Onewo

Looking at the total insider shareholdings in a company can help to inform your view of whether they are well aligned with common shareholders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. Insiders own 1.7% of Onewo shares, worth about HK$400m. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.

So What Do The Onewo Insider Transactions Indicate?
