CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) is in the spotlight Monday after a busy week that included an expanded AI agent security collaboration with Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA), a Mizuho price target increase, and a rally in cybersecurity stocks.

CrowdStrike and Nvidia Expanded AI Agent Security From Software to Silicon

On Oct. 21, at Nvidia’s GTC conference, CrowdStrike announced an expanded collaboration with Nvidia to extend AI-native security from software to hardware. CrowdStrike is integrating Falcon Guardian, its AI Detection and Response product, with Nvidia’s OpenShell secure runtime software, and plans to integrate it with Nvidia Sentry for in-silicon enforcement. The OpenShell integration will connect agent prompts, model interactions and runtime activity with the broader Falcon platform’s security context, to help enterprises detect malicious behavior across AI agent workflows.

The planned Sentry integration, on Nvidia’s BlueField-4 data processing units, would pair AI detection and response with out-of-band monitoring and hardware-level policy enforcement, to contain unsafe agent behavior beyond the software runtime.

"AI agents have already created a new attack surface, and guardrails alone won’t stop an adversary," said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike.

Mizuho Raised Its CrowdStrike Price Target to $275 on Falcon Guardian Feedback

On Oct. 22, Mizuho analyst Gregg Moskowitz kept an Outperform rating on CrowdStrike and raised his price target to $275 from $250. According to Seeking Alpha, Moskowitz cited encouraging early channel checks on Falcon Guardian, the same AI agent security product at the center of the Nvidia collaboration.

Cybersecurity Stocks Rallied Friday as Teams Rushed to Patch a Critical PHP Flaw

Shares of cybersecurity companies traded higher Friday, a strength that may be due to security teams rushing to patch a flaw in the PHP programming language, according to Benzinga. Two critical PHP vulnerabilities, known as PHP2Shell, were disclosed Oct. 21. They affect a language used by roughly 70% of websites and could let attackers run code remotely on vulnerable servers. CrowdStrike shares rose about 6% to 8% on the day. Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, Cloudflare and Okta also rose. Evercore ISI’s quarterly channel partner survey, published the same day, found a firming cybersecurity budget outlook heading into year-end and named CrowdStrike and Palo Alto as leading beneficiaries of AI-driven security spending.
