Foreign Ministry Spokesman Guo Jiakun presided over the regular press conference on October 26. At the meeting, a foreign media reporter asked about the ASEAN Defense Ministers Expanded Conference to be held this week: Will the Chinese side send senior officials or delegations to attend this meeting? Guo Jiakun said in this regard that the ASEAN Defense Ministers Expanded Conference should play a positive role in strengthening dialogue, enhancing mutual trust, and promoting cooperation among countries in the region. We oppose the private use of public equipment by any power, kidnapping ASEAN, and disrupting the situation.
