According to reports, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have scheduled mass production and shipment of the 8-layer HBM4 for Nvidia around the second quarter of next year. A person familiar with the matter said, “As far as I know, Nvidia will be equipped with 8-layer HBM4 based on the Rubin Ultra based NVL rack size. “While the 12-layer HBM4 will remain the main focus this year, the proportion of 8-layer HBM4 will increase significantly from the middle of next year.”
