Iran's semi-official media, Tasneem News Agency, quoted anonymous sources on Saturday evening as saying that reports about Iran's proposal to restart navigation in the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for the US side to lift the maritime blockade were all false and fictional. “Fundamentally speaking, Iran does not accept the 'Strait of Hormuz in exchange for lifting the blockade' terms,” the source said. The news also mentioned that the conflict surrounding the strait can only be expected to be resolved if the US satisfies Iran's demands, including stopping the destruction of Iran's ports and shipping.
