Kuaishou's official account published an article stating that in response to the Central Internet Information Office's “Clean Up and Remediate Short Video False Personalization Chaos” campaign, the platform has carried out special investigations on five types of outstanding issues: impersonating vulnerable groups, fictional professional qualifications, using artificial characters such as AI, advocating extravagant superstitions, and fabricating conflict dramas, and strictly dealt with related illegal short videos and accounts according to law and regulations depending on the severity of the circumstances. Since the launch of the project, the platform has disposed of more than 21,000 pieces of related illegal short video content and more than 1,700 illegal accounts.
