The Zhitong Finance App learned that lithium battery concept stocks rebounded strongly. As of press release, Ningde Times (03750) rose 6.38% to HK$360; China Airlines (03931) rose 4.18% to HK$13.46; Zenith Energy (03677) rose 4.18% to HK$3.615; and Ganfeng Lithium (01772) rose 2.67% to HK$22.32.

According to news, in September, the sales volume of power and energy storage batteries in China was 222.7 GWh, down 0.2% month on month and up 52.0% year on year. Guohai Securities pointed out that the month-on-month decline in mobile battery sales in September was mainly due to a 3.7% month-on-month decline in energy storage battery sales, of which energy storage battery exports fell 11.9% month-on-month. The bank believes that this is due to short-term delivery disruptions, not weakening overseas demand. Looking ahead to Q4, due to the export tax rebate policy, lithium battery companies may grab exports, and Q4 lithium battery sales are expected to continue to rise.

Huaxi Securities, on the other hand, said that the lithium battery sector has been adjusted sufficiently, and the market's doubts about the increase in demand in the second half of the year and next year are gradually reflected in stock prices. As subsequent market expectations are repaired, the Ningde era, a lithium battery leader with a consolidated moat and an advantage in the upstream and downstream industrial chains, is preferred; secondly, tight supply and demand patterns such as copper foil and diaphragms are more supported by price increases.
