The conference also released the “Xi'an Initiative”. According to the initiative, participants positively evaluated the four major global initiatives and agreed that international friendship cities are a solid link of friendship between peoples of all countries, should adapt to the general trend of the times, deepen solidarity and cooperation, and promote the building of a community of human destiny.
