Holmen to Split Forest Business Division into Wood Supply, Forestry

02:09 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Holmen (HOLM-B.ST, HOLM-A.ST) is splitting its forest business into two units, wood supply and forestry, the Sweden-listed forest products company said Thursday. The move will improve governance by defining priorities. As a stand-alone unit, the wood supply segment will handle delivery to the industrial operations. The forestry operations will focus on developing the value of its own forests. The split, which does not involve any planned redundancies, is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2027.
